GUIDED TOURS

A picture may speak a thousand words but it cannot be a substitute for the experience one attains through an in-person visit. Everyone is welcome! Visit the Masjid (Mosque) by yourself or with others regardless of whether you’re from Whitehorse or just traveling.

The guided tour takes you on a journey to the communal epicenter of the Muslim community; the Masjid. The tour will help you learn about the concept of a Masjid, its history, significance, and the beautiful Arabic Calligraphy inside that inspire the soul.

Each guided tour is an experience to be lived, a story to remember, a memory to be cherished.

FAQs

Yes, Car Parking is available and you can use the Masjid’s Parking Lot. There is one stall reserved for differently-abled people.

Children of all ages are welcome. However we do ask that they are supervised at all times.

Out of respect for this place of worship, adult visitors are requested to observe modest dress that covers their arms and legs. Women will be asked to cover their heads before entering the prayer hall, so please bring a scarf with you. All visitors will be asked to remove their shoes at the entrance.

Children should wear modest clothing as with adults but very young children would not be expected to be covered up.

The tour will start from the ‘Wudu’ or ablution areas and through to the main prayer hall.

Tours generally last for 45 mins to an hour.

Yes, you certainly can if he is available during the tour.

Yes however we ask that you do not take photos or videos of people praying.

Yes, the Masjid is wheelchair accessible.

Yes, you may bring a packed lunch but please ensure that you inform us before hand so that appropriate seating (Chairs, Sheets to cover the carpeted floor) and dining arrangements could be made.
